A customer liked this design but with butterflies instead of faries. They are also unsure about colours etc. so I painted the two samples above. Which do you prefer - the Adonis Blue butterfly version with chromium oxide green leaves, or the Peacock butterfly painted in metalic colours? |
they are both gorgeous, but i LOVE the metallic gold colors of the 2nd!
ReplyDeleteI like them both!...couldn't choose one over the other. They are stunning artwork.
ReplyDeleteWow, my sister plays the harp and she has flowers painted on hers too! Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMe gusta más el primero, aunque ambos son hermosos. ¡El arpa es una magnífica obra de arte!
ReplyDeleteWow, both are beautiful, Jerry!
ReplyDeleteDear Jerry is so nice to see your BEAUTIFUL work!
ReplyDeleteThe two designs are both beautiful, one more sweet and romantic, the one with the metallic color more classic!
Decoration for a girl, the first
the other for a lady! I speak with sincerity, my point of view, if I can be useful!
Jerry!! They are both so beautiful but I "love" the second one painted in Metallic colors...(classy!)
ReplyDeleteHello Jerry
ReplyDeleteWonderful detailed work, both lovely, but I have to agree with Rita.It really depends on if the intrument is going to be used by a girl, or a mature person.
Warmest regards.
Gorgeous work, Jerry, and my favorite is the blue. I notice I'm outvoted here, which only goes to show that artistic taste is very individual.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime particulièrement le dessin avec le papillon bleu... cependant ce n'est que mon goût personnel car l'autre modèle est aussi très joli.
ReplyDeleteGros bisous
Thanks everyone for your very kind comments. The difference in taste between an adult or someone younger is especially interesting as I have sent it to the customer where I think the mother and her young daughter are discussing between them which to go for.
ReplyDeleteThey are both beautiful but as blue is my favourite colour it has to be the blue one :)
ReplyDeleteThey are both really beautiful Jerry but as I have a real passion for colour and find it so uplifting there is no contest, it is unquestionably the blue one. I am rather flattered that my choice apparently shows I am less mature, I have always said I am still eighteen in my head! I like the blue with the fairies too so maybe I am even younger than that ;-) I also think the blue looks perfect with the colour of the wood. Do let us know which one your customer decides on.
ReplyDeleteI left a late (sorry!!) comment on your previous post too.
Oh this is difficult Jerry, both are so beautiful, but I think I would choose the metallic color. Wish you a great Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBoth are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks also RR, SS, J & KB I love hearing all your opinions and as you can see, 'voting' was fairly evenly split. I've now heard back from the customer and I'm proud to announce that the winner is......(cue fanfare).... the metalic design with Peacock butterflies.
ReplyDeleteLove them both Jerry. Exquisite work.
ReplyDeletejerry both are incredibly beautiful
ReplyDeleteThat's very kind of you Jane thanks.
DeleteI came across to check out the harp. I had no idea you did this type of thing. How beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the sound of a harp. There is something quite magical about them isn't there?
I love both of the designs equally :0)
Thank you Sandra, yes we like to make our harps look just how our customers want them to but in the end it's the sound that's the most important thing.
